PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The ARA is an indoor, broaband CATV distribution amplifier designed to be used in RF distribution systems supporting high end residential systems.  The unit’s Automatic Gain Controlled (AGC) circuitry is designed to adjust the gain of the amplifier in order to maintain a constant output level to the residential system. The consistent output level from the AGC circuit will prevent an installation from being negatively affected by the constant, small changes in a signal level that are prevalent in cable television networks.  The 5-42 MHz passive return path will allow the unit to be used in all Digital and Cable Modem enabled cable television systems. The amplifier is housed in an aluminum chassis that provides excellent heat dissipation while allowing for ease and installation.
