Design

With the entire staff at Toner Cable Equipment, Inc. having in excess of 440 years of Cable TV experience, we are able to share this experience with you by either assisting with or providing cable systems design. We have been offering this service to our customers for the past 35 years. Whether it is a Headend, RF distribution system, fiber optic system or HFC system we have the experience and knowledge to help with the design! Our sales people have been trained on doing simple RF designs and have done thousands over the years. We often will do this for no charge if the distribution and headend is purchased from us.

Many customers come to us with a project they want to quote on. We take the scope of the project along with the property drawings and provide you with a budget number for the proposal. This budget number will include the amount of cable and connectors needed, taps and passives quantities, as well as amplifiers. Then if you are successful and get the project we will do the actual detailed design showing location of each amplifier and tap, their values and settings and provide a detailed bill of materials. We charge for this depending on the size and scope of the project but will often credit some of the fees towards the purchase price of the equipment.

We have designed systems that range from 10 outlets to more than 2000 for customers worldwide. Some of the systems we have done are: Warrior Prep Center in Germany, Longaberger Basket in Ohio, General Motors in Michigan, Hilton and Marriott Hotels, Emerald Bay Golf resort in Mexico and hundreds of hotels, schools, office buildings and prisons all over the country.
