TV Antennas & Pre Amplifiers
Toner Cable stocks off-air antennas and pre-amplifiers from Blonder Tongue, Wade and Wineguard. Off-air antennas are used to receive over-the-air (OTA) signals from broadcast TV stations. When there is excessive distance between the antenna and the distribution panel, a preamplifier can provide considerable improvement. Often times preamplifiers are referred to as “boosters” and while the preamplifier does increase signal levels beyond the antenna, it does not improve the quality of the HDTV signal received from the antenna. The function of the preamplifier is to “maintain” the signal quality at the output of the antenna to the media / distribution panel. Therefore the purpose of the preamplifier is to overcome cable system losses by increasing signal levels.
Blonder Tongue's BTY Series Antennas are heavy duty VHF / UHF Antennas and are available as single channel or antennas that will provide a range of channels, and some can be combined to offer you a complete channel line-up. Antennas feature high gain, flat response, narrow beamwidth and low side lobes. When a pre-amplifier is necessary, Blonder Tongue's SCMA and CMA series are readily available.
Wade Antenna's Helical Antennas are extremely rugged and designed to operate under the severest of environmental condition. Available as a single antenna or a customized antenna array. All material is hot dip galvanized steel or aluminum for superior quality and longevity.
Wineguard provides High Definition VHF/UHF antennas designed for suburban areas where the signal may be up to 80 miles away from the broadcast source. These antennas achieve outstanding reception by precise director spacing and highly efficient corner reflectors.
With offering so many quality choices, Toner Cable can help to find the best off air-antenna to meet your needs.
